Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 Tablet in Pakistan
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 Review
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 N5100 can be regarded as the sibling of Galaxy Note N5110, both tablets due to be released soon around the same time in 2013. These tablets are not much different from one another, offering almost the same features.
The Screen with Fluid Operations
Samsung Galaxy Note N5100 is an 8.30 inches tablet computer with an 8 inches TFT capacitive touch screen. The sensitivity level of the touch screen is low, but the multi-touch feature enhances the user experience to an advanced level. However, the resolution of Galaxy Note N5100 is quite disappointing at a pixel density of approximately 189 PPI. On the positive side, the weight of the tablet is only 338 grams, which makes it quite light. Therefore, carrying and holding it will never be a problem for any user.
Connectivity Options
The tablet computer provides network coverage of three networks, 2G, 3G as well as the lightening fast 4G LTE network. Therefore, a fast connectivity can be established when you connect to the internet and browse from one website to another. Wi-Fi connectivity is available.
Operating System with Apps
Although Jelly Bean Android operating system is not as popular among users as the Ice Cream Sandwich version, it is still a latest version of the Android OS, which is quite good. One great thing, though, is the fast processing speed. The processer of Samsung Galaxy N5100 has a speed of 1.6 GHz just like its sibling, Samsung N5110. There are a number of apps in Note 8.0, which are there for your entertainment and to help with your office work or college assignments. The document viewer and editor are very useful for all your official work. On the other hand, music player, image and video editor and YouTube integration are available for your full-time entertainment.
A Tablet with Mobile Phone Usability
The unique feature of Note N5100 which makes it unique is that it is tablet device which allows you to use a mobile Sim for voice communication and sms. So, you can use your N5100 tablet for making calls as well as for sending and receiving text messages. Now this is what makes this tablet device worth your attention and eventually, worth your money. Most of the tabs are introduced with no GSM connectivity but this is an exception from the company.
Camera is Not So Great
The camera of this tablet is average with a resolution of 5 MP. It is not a great resolution, but it cannot be deemed as low either. But, the lack of a flash light is definitely a drawback as without it, the brightness of pictures is compromised.
Samsung Galaxy Note N5100 is a combination of some great and some average features. However, with an attractive external design and its light weight, this tablet looks impressive.
