Over the past few months we have witnessed some very cool releases from QMobile Pakistan essentially Android and touchscreen mobile phones. But regretfully, it does not mean that they are as good as they could be. Most of low featured phones failed to meet the expectations of fans. Nonetheless, the work and efforts that company has put together is undoubtedly loud and clear. And it is pretty obvious that over the next couple of years QMobile will be among the top mobile brands atleast in Pakistan.
Here, we are going to explore the important specs of QMobile M6 and what stands for and against the phone. M6 by QMobile is a basic multimedia phone with support of dual-SIM. It packs a portable wireless speaker and basic VGA camera for photo shooting at its back. Announced in January, 2012, at the moment the price of the phone lies right in the midst of high-end and low budget phones. For the features which the phone is offering, price is considerably high.
M6 has a candybar shape whereas its dimensions are 113mm by 49.8mm by 12.4mm. Due to its shape, the phone is easy to carry and move so rough users would be happy to use it. But for those who are style conscious it may not be a straight decision especially for a price tag this phone bears. The body built is old-fashioned. However, the 2.2 inches screen and its innovative pinkish round keypad buttons are enough to shadow the low material quality built.
You may not be surprised with the display size while reading the specs but the considering the shape and dimensions of the phone, it actually stimulates the look and feel of M6. Coming with a basic VGA camera capable of recording videos and shooting your moment is clearly compromised since we would like atleast or above 2 megapixel camera for that budget. You could compare this feature with latest E5 multimedia phone pricing just RS. 3000 but featuring a 1.3 megapixel camera on it.
So what else you find on QMobile M6? It runs its own China Mobile OS which is mostly seen in other models too so if you are QMobile faithful then you must be easy with its use. With Micro USB2.0, Bluetooth and GPRS connectivity options you are sure to stay connected online or share your files with other handsets. But don’t be agitated with its connectivity, expect slow page loading speed due to basic operating system and hardware components.
To its multimedia features, the phone offers FM Radio, Music/ Video Player plus portable wireless speaker is an added feature that pushes your outdoor fun and music activities. With just 8 hours standby time, you can expect the talk time on the battery. So until you fall in the lust, you probably will not be easy to pay a substantial price for a low market phone.
