HTC is ready for the release of a brand new mid-range device – HTC Desire 830. Succeeding the 2-year old Desire 820, the new smartphone houses a touchscreen with the same size but a slightly revamped resolution. The 5.5 inch screen now presents the clarity of 1080 x 1920 pixels instead of the previous 720 x 1280 resolution of its ancestor. In addition, the phone’s Super LCD capacitive display, a 13 MP primary snapper and Android’s 6.0 Marshmallow OS version are also latest additions.
Design
The newbie consists of an all plastic body. Although it does not give a premium feel, the plastic exterior does contribute towards a pleasantly light weight. In addition, accent colors have been added along the sides, around the camera ring as well as the speakers to add some spice to the all-white body. At present, the available colors are red and blue.
